Where is the starter switch located in a 1995 isuzu trooper LS. Not sure if there talking about key switch or other in column.

The key lock cylinder operates the ignition switch sometimes ignition switch is separate sorry I didn't find where ignition switch is located if the lock cylinder is plugged into it.
You should have a starter relay and starter relay fuse.
This diagram of starter circuit shows the clutch pedal switch in the circuit on an automatic should have the neutral safety switch in the circuit. This is for 95 Rodeo.

Location ignition module

The ignition module sounds right. The reason the dealer wants to charge $400 is for the labor involved plus the part.

I have a honda accord that I replace key cylindar only runs if I hold the key if i let it go it will turn off

A car ignition has (2)parts one mechanical &one electircal.if you have to hold the key then replace the switch at the end of the ignition.

Diagram on a pontiac grand prix

I have 07 Pontiac Grand Prix, the wrong key was inserted into the ignition the other day. Now when I try to use the correct key it will not insert completly in the ignition, goes in until last 1/4in of key. Im stuck, I bought the new lock cylinder but how do I get the old one out? I cant get the key to insert all the way so I cant get it to the "On" position, it will not turn at all. The key that was inserted in error is whole and nothing is missing it seems like there is something stuck. Any help would be appreciated...
