I have a 06 hyundai santa fe, today I was going to the gas station when my car started to idle funny while at a stop light. It was reving up and down and moving forward almost as if it was out of gas. I had a little less then a 1/4 tank but there was not gas ight, check engine light, or any other idicators of what was wrong. I use the same gas station every time so I don't believe it is bad gas. I also click the gas nozel onthe car about 3times when I clsoe it, so I do not belive it was that. When I began to excelerate it felt as though it was holding back, then would lung forward but did not die. I put about a half tank of gas in it then drive it home. It did the same movements all the way home. I turned it on again when I go home and it died immediately but then started up again. I am not sure if it will run again tomorrow to get to work. Any ideas on what is going on? It has less then 40k miles on it and all the fulids are at approp levels...
There could be several reasons for this. seeing that it is still under warrenty it's best to take it to the dealer have them do a complete diagnostic scan. any advice i were to give at this point aand if you were to touch the vehicle under the hood would void your warrenty. please rate this even though i did not solve the problem.
