CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:
The camshaft position sensor is located at the end of the cylinder head .The sensor is held by 4 bolts (2.4 engine-1 bolt for 2.7)
REMOVAL
The CPS is located in the front of the head. To remove it:
1. Unplug the electrical connector from camshaft position sensor.
2. Remove the screw holding the camshaft position sensor
See diagram 1. The sensor is in position (1):

1. Without pulling the electrical connector, pull the sensor out of the chain case cover.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the sensor in the chain case cover and push sensor in until contact is made with the boss on the head. While holding the sensor in this position, install and tighten the retaining bolts to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.) torque.
2. Attach the connector back to the sensor.

I have an 04 Sebring. 2.4 L DOHC (4cyl) and it was located top of engine right hand side of head. The other post on here did not really help me, so maybe this is a little more info. Took me all of 5 minutes to replace. Good luck- Nikki
