Open driver door, look on end of dash where door closes, you will see a fuse panel cover, just pull it out,the fuses are numbered, look for the cig lighter see number, look in fuse box find num, pull out fuse see if blown.look on back of cover,it will tell you which one you looking for, they are numbered.
there should be a cover panel for the box that would have a diagram of which fuses go to what, if you're looking for a blown fuse you can pull them out individually and hold them up to a light to see if the little wire is in tact, or if it looks damaged, also the 'blades' on the fuses might look burned
Get into your fuse panel usally a plastic box in your glove box or under your hood. Pull whatever fuse you want to check out, look at the fuse if the wire on the inside is burnt or broken your fuse is bad.
will try to help. sounds like you've blown a blinker fuse, you'll need to look for fuse box.you did'nt specify make and model, but will try to point you to its where abouts. look under dash on drivers side next to the door. if you have an owners manual for car, look there for location of fuse box and it should tell you where the fuse location is inside the fuse box.simply replace the blown fuse and check for a blown turn signal bulb also.thank you for choosing fixya.com
It will be in your engine compartment. It will be a black box, pull the lid on it. On the inside cover of the lid it will tell you what each fuse is for. Find the fuse that says something to do with rear brake lights. When you replace the fuse make sure it it the exact same size, like replace a 5amp fuse with another 5 amp fuse. Also when you look on the inside cover of the fuse box lid there should be a couple empty spaces with fuses in them, these are spare fuses for your car. You can use one of these but just make sure to replace it.
I almost forgot, here is a link to show you what a blown fuse looks like.
Look in your fuse box for a fuse labeled curtesy or something like that, If you have a pwmers manual look up fuses and it will tell you the location. If the fuse is not blown, then the receptical is probably bad, but that is rare.
there has to be a fuse either in the car or under hood in the fuse box if you dont have a diagram of fuse locations pull each one out and check. it is most likely labeled something else. or check for a inline fuse for some reason. but their is a fuse most likely in the car pull each one out and check.
