Kia Spectra won't start?

I'm not really good w/ kia's so i need help from you guys. ok so my brother has a 02' Spectra, one day he tried to start it up..it'll crank and all but just won't start. i just installed new spark plugs about 2 months ago and fuel pump still works, or at least i can hear it..i'm guessing it might have something to do w/ the ignition, wires, coils?..anyone knows what it could be?

I'm having the same problem. Sometimes it starts right off, other times I crank it a little, wait a couple of minutes and try again. So far it has started after 2-3 tries. I have a brand new battery and that helped for about a week but now it's doing it again.

Well your MAF or Mass airflow sensor is used to find out the mass of the air that enters a fuel-injected engine. If this is failing, it would send the computer into a "default" mode and turn on your check engine light. of course the prices will differ from city to city.

The selenoid is only used on the starter for starting the vehicle. Otherwise this vehicle is not equipped with any other selenoids used in the air intake.

Hey guys Driving a 2004 Kia Spectra no trim 5 speed manual trans. oil change within three months and about 2 thousand miles heard it might be an 02 sensor not really sure I've recently landed...

take it to a parts store who will run a code check for free If its not overheating and has good oil pressure you should be good to go. dont go to dealers they will burn you every time

I had my alternator replaced in my 2001 Kia Spectra. The belts really made noise after and for the second time the alternator belt has broken off. What is wrong?

whan a new belt is put on it will always stretch a littl;e after a few days and will need to be tightened,if its making noise....it most likely loose,so after the belt is replaced..drive it for a day or two then have it retightened,hope this helps

Hello, most blower motors a normally mounted under the the dash on the passanger side foot area. It usually covered by abs plastc sheald, simply pop that off or un screw it to remove it.
