SOURCE: distributor cap firing order

Your firing order is 1-3-4-2 The rotor in the dist cap rotates clockwise, cylinders are numbered 4 at front of engine, 3,2,1 at firewall.

SOURCE: i need the exact fireing order for a 97 plymouth

The firing order for your engine is 1-2-3-4-5-6. If you are standing in front of your vehicle looking at the engine the left rear is #1, left front is #2, middle rear is #3, middle front is #4, right rear is #5, right front is #6. Now on the coil block it is different the middle rear is #1, left front is #2, right rear is #3, middle front is #4, left rear is #5, and right front is #6. Hope this helps

Two cylinders not firing.

Is it cylinders 3 and 6 that are not firing? As it is quite likely that the ignition coil is common for these 2 cylinders. Although the coil is one unit I think it has 3 coils that are shared ie cylinders 1+4 2+5 and 3+6 share each coil internally.
