REPLACE BATTERY CABLES SEE IF HELPS THE PROBLEM.TURN OFF RADIO BEFORE DISCONNECTING NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE TO KEEP FROM LOCKING OUT THE RADIO.MOST OF THE TIME A BAD BATTERY GROUND CABLE OR EITHER CABLE WILL CHARGING PROBLEMS.DUE TO HEAT STRESS UNDER CAR HOOD BATTERY CABLES CAN BREAK AND CRACK CAUSE CHARGING PROBLEMS TO THE ALTERNATOR.
The guy at the auto parts store said it was the 2 small weires the ran to a plug that plugs into my alternator he said don't have any power to them now I don't know what to do
CHECK THE ALTERNATOR BATTERY FEED WIRE AND VOLTAGE REGULATOR WIRES FOR DAMAGE OR LOOSE CONNECTION. THOSE ARE THE WIRES GOING TO ALTERNATOR. I SEEN MOST OF THE TIME VOLTAGE REGULATOR WIRES WILL BREAK CAUSE CHARGING PROBLEMS.
I will check that tomorrow thank u
CHECK VOLTAGE REGULATOR WIRE I HAVE SEEN WIRES INSIDE THE CONNECTOR BREAK WORK THEIR WAY OUT THE CONNECTOR CAUSING A SHORT IN CIRCUIT.
Were is that located
IF YOU HAVE NO POWER GOING TO THE 2 WIRES TO ALTERNATOR CHECK ALTERNATOR FUSE.

ECM needs minimum of 9.6V to work on, if the Volts drops lower then that then you will have problems. I think either your alternator belt is sliping or one of the diods in the altinator is dead.
This could be an intermittent problem.
