Where is the fuse for the cigaret lighter? I found a panel on the passenger side on the side of the console but no cigaret lighter fuse. Is there another location?

Try instrument panel fuse 17, AuxiliaryPower Rear. ...The instrument panel fuse block is located on the passenger side panel of the center console. To access the fuses, open the fuse panel door from the passenger side by pulling it out.

The Fuse Box for the Cigarette Lighter - is located in the Rear Fuse and Relay Module - Fuse F148 - 15A -
To get to it - Fold the Right (passenger side) rear seat fusion forward and fold back the carpeting. you should see the door where the fuse is.

Change the fuse. Usually located on the side or under the driver side dash.

From the op manual and having done it myself......"the fuse block is located under the instrument panel on the driver side of the vehicle."
Fuse # 7 is for the cig lighter and accessory power outlet.

There should be a fuse for the lighter. I may be blown. smoke tells me you could have a short.

Engine compartment (left side), fuse #1 and #6. In MB cigar lighter only works when key is on.

I think you have a W211 if it's a sedan. W210 only goes thru 2002.

Also check the lighter filament. It may just be burned out.

did you check all the fuses, some lighters are labeled under auxilary power,

cigarette lighter is not connected with the fuse....
the lighter have more resistance than the fuse due to that the fuse will burn in seconds...
cigarete lighter is with CUTOUT i think ur CUTOUT is dead....the whole resistance power is depending on CUTOUT it obsorbe the power and not damage the wiring....
check it ....

Ok...The Fuse for the Cigarette Lighter is in the Panel in the Passenger side Dash. It is Fuse # F8 and is a 20 Amp Fuse. The Fuse for the Heated Mirrors is located in the Under Hood Fuse/Relay Panel and is # Ef27. These numbers are marked on the panel.
