Over heat of vw polo

8 valve engine renew bolts then stage 1 tighten 40nm then 60nm then +90 degrees then a further+ 90 degrees if it a 16 valve engine its renew bolts then 30nm then +90degrees then a further +90degrees

Its your oil level very low needs topping up ..other wise u will damage ur engine

u need a computer diagnostic and not at a parts store-there selling items by bad codes -too general

Service reset


1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Press and hold the reset button [1] (see the above picture).
3. Turn the ignition ON.
4. "SERVICE" appears on the display.
5. Release the button [1].
6. Turn the button to the right.
7. The service indicator shows: "---".
8. Turn the ignition OFF.
9. The system is reset.

hi to tighten you have to do it in 4 stages as follows
1st stage 40nm leave 5 mins 2nd stage 60nm leave 5 mins 3rd stage 90 degrees leave 10 mins 4th stage 90 degrees then you are done i will try put order on here i hope this works as follows
10 4 2 6 8 front of engine back of engine 7 5 1 3 9

hi is the water flowing through the engine ie radiator blocked, water pump. regards

check the relays for your fans and check you fuses for yourfans
