if u have a 95 lincoln towncar and it just cranks and wont startthe issue could be a couple of things #1 fuses ...
first you need to test for spark if there is spark then check for fuel if there iis no spark have your ignition module ckecked for fuel take the lifuel line off from fuel tank to fuel lilter it is not difficult.
turn on head lights have some one try and start car if the lights do not go dim then the starter is not drawing any power take starter out replace or rebuild can take starer out and hook to the battery its a 98 should have put 3 or 4 starter in by now I have
1998 Lincoln Towncar - I have put a new battery and a new alternator. The car will run for as long as the battery has juice, then dies. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?
check the spark plugs to see if they are getting any spark-pull one of the plugs, reconnect the wire, and hold near something metal on the car while someone turns the engine over-if no spark-it's electrical-maybe just the plugs-maybe something more serious
