The battery wont stay charged? if youre putting in a fully charged battery and your car runs, but then the battery slowly dies, the problem will be your alternator. the alternator is what maintains a car batteries charge. try replacing the alternator. hope this helps.

Ive tried a new alternator with a new battery, checked all the fuse currents, no lights left on...and still the battery dies with in days to hours. Sometimes it will start again but most times it wont.

97 honda accord lx keeps dying and won't stay on. I replaced the battery, alternator and starter. It turned on but just stayed on till it drained the battery. what could it be?

have someone turn the key while you listen for the fuel pump to come on in the fuel tank. it should only come on for a few seconds if not than your fuel pump is bad.

I have a 97 Acura RL,engine light stays on even after O2 sensor is disconnected.I've changed out plugs& checked omhs on coils.Did a compression check on cylinders, 50-80.Do have oil on plugs,

To review, the check engine light will stay on until the problem is fixed and the code or codes are erased. And if the O2 sensor is disconnected the light will stay on for sure.
Do you have the trouble codes stored in the computer ?
FYI - the cylinders should have over 100psi of compression.

I have a 1996 acura rl and my problem is my remote entry won't work and my cluster light won't shut off and the check engine light came on all at once don't have a clue as to why

remote entry wont work because either remote battery is dead or remote broken.cluster light will stay on if head light stay on could have faulty headlight relay or headlight control unit faulty let dealership check it out.

could be poor connection from battery to battery cable terminal. take off both pos. & neg. battery terminals, clean & reinstall, making sure there is a tight connection. if the cables are loose (even just one) or if the battery cable seems degraded with corrosion, they should be replaced. could also do a load-test on the battery... it should stay strong under load, and shouldn't drop to below 11 volts under load. if it does you have a bad battery, even though it may seem good otherwise.
