1987 toyota tercel no spark I tried changing the coil and it did not help. Does it make sense to change the distributer complete with all the inside parts?

THERE IS A STATOR IN THE DISTRIBUTOR, THIS IS THE SAME AS A CRANK SENSOR, HAVE YOU CHANGED IT?

The cylinder head bolt torque is a 2 step process.

First: Torque all of the bolts to 45 Nm (450 Kgf-cm or 33 ft lbs.)
Replace any head bolt that will not torque to the above specs.

Second: after all ten bolts are torqued to the above specs, the head bolts are then "Torqued to Distance"...

Starting at the center bolts, retorque all ten bolts an additional 90 degrees.

Check your timing belt if is broken cause of your distributor rotor not turning.

'91-'94 Tercels have the Single overhead cam 3EE Motor.
'95-'99 Tercels have the dual overhead cam 5E-FE Motor. A much improved engine in my humble opinion.
