HELP my Buick regal won't accelerate

I ahve a 95 buick regal custom. 3.8 liter and when I go to accelerate it won't go past 35mph. sometimes when it does, suddenly I would loose acceleration power and it will go all the way down to 10 mph. Also, it sometimes jerks as if it is pulsating or something trying to get gas. and when I try to go up hills in the road my car really struggles. Please help me.

Have you ever replaced the fuel filter? sounds like that may be the problem, it is under the car on the drivers side.

My 95 buick regal custom 3.8L V6 has been lagging on acceleration when i press the gas. i figured it was the fuel pump so i changed it. it runs a little better as of now but still kind of lags on...
Did you replace the fuel filter also? Also check the air filter, if it's dirty replace it
