This code relates to the operation of the electronic EGR system. You can remove the EGR valve and make sure that the ports are not "carboned" up. If they are, use a good carburettor cleaner and a screwdriver to aid in removing the build up. Once that is accomplished, reinstall the EGR and see if the system cleans up. this can also improve gas mileage. If the light remains on, replacement of the EGR valve may be required.
