Where is the location of the coil pack on a 2007 freestar van

It should be on top of the engine, and you should be able to follow the plug wires.

My car is chugging it feels like the fuel isn't getting through. I have changed the spark plugs and about to change the fuel filter.

dont just change parts without knowing--scan car at a parts place 1st-------it cud be a failin fuel pump or pressure regulator----or an egr valve--dirty injection system-----worn plug wires------fuel system pressure test or ignition inspection may be in order

Where is the fuel filter

My friend;
Try this;

  1. Normally new cars have at least two filters;.
  2. One internally called screen { because it's made of wire mesh or plastic} inside the fuel tank with the fuel pump assy.
  3. The other one externally underneath the vehicle under the forward passenger next to the RH chassis / or some where in the engine compartment.

Try it, & PLZ; let me know if It work with You & If I add any benefits to you.
I hope I add some thing valuable to you.
Regards;

Have a 2007 freestar thats has a popping noise out of the throttle body thats sounds like popcorn popping. doesn't affect it running though.

its your mass air flow sensor. the air filter housing does not seal well, wich causes dirt and turbulance to (MASF). So your vehicle will begin to run richer, making a popping noise. then the vehicle will start to jump while driving or even stall.

My 2004 ford freestar van is hesitating going down the road. i change the egr valve . could it be the fuel filter

most likely not the fuel filter- try plugs and wires... could be a number of things, if the vehicle runs fine while in park and doesnt hesitate, most likely is sprk plugs and wires or a transmission problem...

The engine seems to be making a sputtering noise

Amelia, we just bought one off a lease 5 weeks ago (purchased from a dealer). We are having the same symptoms, suddenly, as you describe.

Took it back to the dealership. After a bit of drama, they agreed to foot the repair bill ($1000). It was a broken distributer cap and wiring which should have been replaced before it was resold to us. What a pain.
