where is the connector located?, i have a 1995 Aston DB7 and i have the engine management light on?

The code refers to the secondary air pump. This pump helps reduce pollution by injecting air in the exhaust system for up to 30 seconds at cold startups.


Possible causes:
Bad Air Pump. Fix: replace air pump, it is found low, under the battery
Bad Relay (controls the air pump) :
The relay is in the relay box next to the battery. It is the relay in the left upper corner when looking towards the driver.

First thing to check is the fuse.
Other possibilities are,
stuck motor,
bad relay,
corroded connections, it's in a bad place where water and road grime can damage the connections. It's located in front of tire, driver side,up under fender well area, try tapping on it, sometimes that will work. But check the fuse first.

I believe that P1413 is an electric air pump problem. The electric air pump itself, the relay that controls it, or (you hope not) wiring between computer and air pump, or the computer itself. Possible causes :- Open B+ circuit. Open AIR circuit. Damaged PCM. Air circuit short to ground. Damaged AIR pump. Damaged solid state relay. Diagnostic Aids The AIR monitor circuit is held low by the resistance path through the AIR pump when the pump is off. Also, look for open circuit from SSR to AIR pump.
