ok the p1111 code is a system check readiness code...the other codes fuel and air mixture codes....please check the upper breather hose under the engine cover...take a philips head screw driver, remove the cover,,,you will see a hose running from the valve cover to the upper intake...check this hose for any cracks...this will usually create a vacuum leak, and cuase the car to run lean or have too much air and sputter...if you want me to send the code meanings I can but on these cars this is usually the issue...Keep me posted
P1603: Transmission Control Module (TCM) EEPROM Failure C1145: Front right wheel speed sensor input circuit failure
The P1603 means that your TCM has probably failed. It may have a loose solder connection or the PROM chip may have come out of it's slot. EIther way the TM needs tobe removed from the car and repaired/replaced by a qualified repair person.
The C1145 is for the ABS and it may be related to the TCM failure. I am not that familiar with the Jaguar ABS system, but that code means the signal from the front right wheel is bad. May be the sensor or the "tone ring"...
When I went outside to start my Jaguar X-Type it was cold outside. I was in a hurry and didn't let the car warm up properly. It jumped a bit then the check engine light came on along with a message that said No cruise control. The no cruise light came off but my check engine light is still on. Any suggestions as to what it may be?
