lots of reasons. 2.2L or 3.0L V6? no engine told and is and engine question , no VIN and if told we tell you what's under that hood. Driving to KEY West FL. huh, LOL !!!!! not told is does it CRANK ok fast or starter is dead.? or cranks fast but will not start,. hot. << guess yes. so in 18 years no tuneups done??? spark, filters ,belts ,fluids? all spark parts bad, they hate humidity when bad, for 100years. 2.2L has 4 cops spark coils in large single unit. it may be bad or just those old old spark plugs under it. and 4 boots bad too. V6. uses same funny unified coil pack, but 2x3 and same exact answer packs , boots and spark plugs bad. that is about it, but no starts have 50 causes and lots of tests to find but a tune up is always good to do , (ignored a long time)

never heard of a feal filter

Sorry about two pictures. Found this on youtube, video showing how to remove blower motor. In the text, you can see years listed and it says l300. In the video, they removed windshield cowl to get at blower motor. The cowl is at base of windshield on the outside. you can check out the video and see what you think? good luck.

I'm guessing you had to remove all the coil to put the new one in. When you reinstalled the coil packs, did you make sure your they are grounded?

Check your bulb socket, also could be a bad ground on that side.

Check both relays for the DRLs and headlights for possible sticking contacts and the flash to pass in the multifunction switch may be shorting out .

When you turn the key to start what happens ? Does the starter engage an spin the engine ? This would be a crank - no - start condition . Or when you turn the key nothing happens ! This is a no - crank - no start condition . If the engine does spin when turning the key to start and it doesn't start an run you need to see whats missing - spark , fuel or compression . Videos on youtube showing how to test . You need to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to check for fuel . Just pushing the valve on the fuel rail isn't good enough . Check fuses for bulbs? Light switch? Relay if one?

If the security lights stays on. Do a reset. ten minutes on, thirty seconds off, try to start. A relearn is three times this, try to start after the third time. Have a battery charger on it.

It's a "BCM" issue. Body control module. think of a "BCM" as a computer for the interior electrical aspects of the car. If you have the proper scan tool (Tech II) and the skill scan the "BCM" for error codes. Post the codes and I'll tell you how to fix it. If you don't have a scan tool or the skill take the car to a dealer or qualified mechanic.
