check your starter make sure its good take all spark plugs off and turn engine by hand if it turns easy go to starter

Since you changed the battery .. the key needs to re-sync with the system. According to some web searches the following may work:

• Put the key in the ignition
• Then hold the unlock button down on the key for a minute, while the key in the ignition

Let us know if that works

Check DTC with Tech-2. A/C functional? Coil pack missfires? Crankshaft position sensor? There could be many issues..

check the relay maybe faulty and overheating

I would agree that it sounds like a head gasket

When you say reset do you mean you had the battery disconnected and the light is on due to that or another reason like the light just came on while driving which would indicate a fault in the system.

linkage inside trani but let's hope not, and go with a sensor can't remember which one exactly, or it could b automatic shifter cable. Personal experience the last two were ruled out & it was the linkage. Big mess, costly. Get a for sure good trani tech or a whole different trans, if it is that. good luck:/ might want to just let reverse go:/

Have you tested for correct fuel pressure at key on? Do you have spark to the plugs? Compression test?

hi, its most likely the clock spring,you need to remove steering wheel to be able to get to it and replace it.

Common issue on ZF transmissions. Reverse clutch failed and the only way is overhaul/change transmission :(

its located in the back of the cylinder head.

They may have trash in them remove headliner to get to them

It is possible that the relay is "upstream" (electrically speaking) and power is not making it through it to the fuse. There's not a whole lot of other options between the fuse and the battery. Here are two other items you may want to inspect for loose or corroded connections: Ignition Switch, Fuse Block. If the power stops at the ignition switch it will most likely be the contacts on the inside. It is possible to remove and clean them on some Saab 900's but if I remember correctly it was not easy.
