Hi my renault sandero1 1.6 2010 model.. immobilizer stopped working and is no longer starting

Possible causes: Damaged antenna, lack of synchonization with the key, electronic failure with the immobilizer or the computer it accesses. This well may call for a Renault specialist to diagnose but here is what you can try: To address this issue, consider the following steps:
  1. Disable Immobilizer and Start Engine Without It:
    • Obtain the pin code (usually available from the immobilizer itself or through dealers).
    • Try starting the engine without the immobilizer. If successful, this indicates an immobilizer-related issue.
  2. Inspect Soldering on the Immobilizer:
    • Visually check the quality of soldering connections on the immobilizer.
  3. Remove Aftermarket Devices:
    • Turn off any additional devices (e.g., aftermarket radio) that were not part of the manufacturer's original setup.
  4. Check Wiring Integrity:
    • Inspect the wiring for any visible damage.
  5. Verify Lighting and Reversing Lights:
    • Ensure proper functioning of lighting systems.
  6. Consider Temperature Effects:
    • If possible, leave the car indoors to avoid extreme cold, which can affect immobilizer performance.
  7. Check Neutral Position:
    • Confirm that the transmission is in the "neutral" position before starting the engine.

2010 Renault Sandero 1,6i the Gearbox make a winding noise can it be the inner drive shaft bearing, I checked the wheelbearings they are fine?

I would firstly check the gearbox oil and then check if the whining noise gets more pronounced under load, (hill climb etc).

My 2010 Renault Sandero 16i I plug a light in the Cigarette socket and it made a short now the Cigarette socket not working can it be a fuse that's blown?

Yes, I would look closely at the bottom of the lighter socket for any kind of foregn material that might cause a short and then check for a blown fuse and replace if needed.

Renault Sandero fuse box

Hi guys, on a 2014 Renault sandero 1.0T when got an issue tonight with trying to fit LED park lights(which didn't work) and after all this. The one standard park light is a disaster because only works when it wants to now and the the other issue is that the cluster doesn't light up anymore. I might think a fuse popped but Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

How do I locate the dashboard air filter for renault sandero 1,6 2009 model.

To locate the dashboard air filter in a Renault Sandero 1.6 2009 model, you typically need to access the area behind the glove compartment. Start by opening the glove compartment and removing any contents. Then, look for any screws or clips securing the glove compartment in place. Once removed, you should be able to see the air filter housing behind it. Open the housing and carefully replace the air filter as needed. Always consult your vehicle's manual for specific instructions.

I have a Renault Laguna. I did a cylinder head gasket but now it wont start, no engine light on.

Did you disconnect the battery? Did you reset the security system and engine immobilizer? Is the antitheft light flashing? ..

2013 Renault Sandero K7M 1.6. Can anyone help with my car, it cranks but doesn't start?

Don't replace parts on guesses! If your car worked before with the spark plugs, it will work again with the same plugs. It sounds like your issue is that the Security and Engine Immobilizer needs resetting. Presumably at some stage some ID10T decided to disconnect the battery to do the work on the coils! https://www.google.com/search?q=2013+renault+sandero+reset+security+system https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

How do i make adjustments on my rear axal on my Renault

Indeed the rear isn't adjustable by itsself. There are however ways to adjust, either using shims or by pressing the rear axle.

Renault apparently only concern themselves with total toe-in (I've seen the documents), meaning that if total toe-in on the rear axle is within specs, even if one wheel points straight and the other has toe-in, you 're out of luck as far as warranty is concerned. Its 'normal'.

Thankfully the car does not pull, it goes completely straight on a straight road. I'm just worried about tyre wear and, well, I'm kind of a nutter about wanting everything on the car's geo to be perfect (which thankfully is, except rear toe-in).

I saw a post in here with a Renaultsport parts list that included rear toe & camber shims. However the part number doesn't come up when searching Renault's part database. Anyone know how to get them?

Renault Kangoo 2012 1.5dci Electrics problem

BLOWER DEAD IN DASH. the blower must blow, or AC can not run, by laws/rule of ICE UP) so blower is first, for sure hot outside is it car run drives great?, and head lamps ok key off and key on? 2012 cars here USA, (we have no kangoo) all have lots of computers, in the car, and one called BCM runs most of this. BCM means BODY BRAIN, a huge job that covered in the service manual. We test all fuses after they kinda look ok, viewed. (meter tested !) we next scan all PCM/BCM at the DLC scan port. or Fail cars with any kind of EFI, electrical or transmission problems must be scanned, or go broke GUE$$ing. blower on High must work. be best to diagnose that first. what does DISPLAY bad mean?. where is it? the IP cluster, NAV or RADIO LCD????? when cars fail tell all that works or fail, not just fails. see?
