Tip & How-To about 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager

WARRANTY INFORMATION/DETAILS & KNOWLEDGE

For any type of product you purchase such as: Lawn mowers, cell phones, televisions, auto's, auto parts, etc., always inquire with the sales person about any warranties; regarding specific amount of time warranty is good for, as well as the stipulations of the warranty.

Some warranties require that a certain object or part not be tampered with at anytime a defect, malfunction or mishap occurs with the product or part. Some parts will have stickers or labels that will indicate that removal of such or the dismantling of parts will VOID the warranty.

Always, take back the unit in question while still under warranty (if possible) or, if available purchase additional warranty coverage if possible (affordable to you), and ask what options are available per additional warranty coverage based on pricing, length of time, terms of service, terms of warranty etc.

Warranties, as most know can be lengthy in reading, however it is worth the time to read thier entirety and can save you both time, money.

Most of us are familiar with or have at one time become familiar with some type of warranty at one point or another, however a lot of people don't really take the time to completely read through it and educate themselves and end up regretting it in the end, and only take in the "jist" of the warranty that is verbally given at a time of purchase.

So, read it, or reap it. It's your dollars, it's your time. Warranty it, Read it, and play it safe - and.....SAVE TIME AND MONEY!! (not yelling)

have canged the battrey in the key but the key will not open the doors or boot

I first recommend contacting a Ford Dealership, and inquiring with them, as they are more familiar with these issues, however; put the key in the ignition (if you can manual unlock the doors with the key) and start the car. Shut if off, then lock the doors, and try it again. Because this type of unit is "in sync" with the car - it may need to be "reset" once the battery is taken out, or goes dead and a new one is put in. There may be also a sequence of buttons that need to be pushed to "re-activate" the fob key.
If the above does not work, then definitely inquire with the Ford Dealership from which you purchased the vehicle (if applicable) or the previous owner if bought as a personal sale, as they may have had to do this as well.

timing spec and bolt torx spec for 1996 audi a6

Best bet is to purchase a vehicle specific repair manual from your local auto parts store (Pep Boys, Advance, Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, etc.)

The book will contain all of the info you've inquired about.
