2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Quad Cab ABS kicks in when stopping

Took me a while, but found the issue.
When stopping, sometimes, but does get worse as time goes on... the ABS will kick in for no reason and the brakes seem to let up on one side or the other.
OK, now...this is what I read everywhere. Replace the wheel cylinders, replace brake fluid, replace brake lines, replace pads... blah, blah, blah... I read too much to and know too much to realize that the brake fluid is NOT going to let the ABS kick in at under 4mph...
I checked around with some back yard mechanics... Well guess what... The splines in the drive axles that get read from the ABS sensor get clogged with grease causing the wheel sensor to think that the wheel stopped and then releases the ABS for that wheel. Thus letting the steering wheel slightly turn to the left or right depending on which sensor lets go. It your steering wheel slips to the right, the right axle needs cleaning.

OK, with that, this works!!!!!!
Obviously need to be mechanically inclined at least a little.
Take the wheel off on the side that the ABS is letting go.
Douse the ABS sensor with some sort of penatrent that will allow to soak in and let the ABS sensor to be taken out. If it breaks, you'll need to dig it out somehow or you'll end up replacing the wheel hub, I was lucky.
OK, once you take off the wheel and remove the ABS sensor, take a flash light and look in the hole. You'll see that the grease has filled the grooves making it appear to be solid.
Take a small screwdriver, like the one you get from Snap On or Mac and clean out every groove. This will take some time. You may have to do this one, two or three times around, maybe 20 mins worth.
OK, once this is all cleaned, put the sensor back in, don't overtighten, then the wheel.
You should be good to go, or stop in this case!! :)

I was lucky only the Rt front sensor needed cleaning last year... now about a month ago the left one started to do this. SO, I guess as soon as I get sick of that I'll take care of that one too!
