What do I do if I smell gasoline in the oil?
It is good that you have detected this problem. Gas in the oil is detrimental to the life of the engine. The oil is contaminated and probably thinned out.But it will happen shortly again if you do not find the cause. Most likely you have fuel injectors that are leaking. A bleed-down test could confirm the problem if the integrity of the rest of the fuel system allows it. Sometimes fuel pressure is too high and beyond the ability of the injectors to close off completely.Testing costs money and finding the 1 bad injector out of 4 or 6 cylinders is often more expensive than just replacing all of the injectors. You can try to remove sparkplugs after the engine has set overnight and see if one plug is wet. But the fuel may not run down on the sparkplug or you can have an intermittent problem and the engine seals just before testing and you miss it.There are different injection systems and I am not familiar whether you have throttle body injection(one or two injectors) or the port injection for each cylinder. Some older Models could even pass Emissions with Carburetors. An internal leak in a Carburetor would give you the same problems. You do need to get the bad oil out of the engine, but it will quickly be contaminated if you do not fix the cause. The white smoke can be moisture, but not necessarily from an engine defect; the new gasahol fuel attracts water. Please rate my info. Check autoparts sites for pictures of your injectors. Autozone,Advance, Oreilys to name a few.

On this i think you will find you have a pluged cadilac converter. Try taking the bolts out of the pipe going to the convert and move it out of the way so not to restrict the exhaust. You may need to wire it up to the bottom of the car so it wont drag. It is going to be loud but take it for a run if it accelerates like it should you will need to replac the converter. If it doesnt then check for a code on the TPS switch. { Throttle Posions Sencor} Good luck and hope this helps.

- Place the heater-A/C unit on a suitable work surface.
- Locate and remove one retaining nut from the blend-air door pivot shaft.
- To remove the top cover from the heater-A/C case, the crank arm must be removed.
- Disconnect the vacuum lines from the defroster and panel mode vacuum actuators and position them out of the way.
- Remove the 3 heater-A/C unit cover attaching screws, fastened upward at the defroster outlet chamber.
- Remove the 2 heater-A/C unit cover attaching screws, fastened upward at the air inlet plenum.
- Remove the 11 heater-A/C unit cover attaching screws, fastened downward into the housing. Then lift the cover from the heater-A/C unit.
- Remove the old heater core from the case.
To install:

NOTE: The following procedure can be used on all specified 1989-95 models. Slight variations may occur due to extra connections, etc., but the basic procedure should cover all models. Modify the service steps as necessary. Refer to the supplemental restraint system disarming procedure as necessary.
NOTE: It is vital to have the A/C system discharged by a reputable automotive technician utilizing a recovery/recycling machine before detaching the A/C system. Refer to the A/C system precautions presented in Section 1.
- If the vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, have the A/C system discharged by a qualified professional mechanic, using an approved recovery/recycling machine.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Drain the cooling system.
- Clamp off the heater hoses near the heater core and remove the hoses from the core tubes. Plug the hose ends and the core tubes to prevent spillage of coolant.
- Disconnect the H-valve connection at the valve and remove the H-valve. Remove the condensation tube.
- Remove the glove box, right side kick and sill panels, and all modules, relay panels and computer components in the vicinity of the heater housing.
- Remove the lower instrument panel silencers and reinforcements. Remove the radio and other dashboard-mounted optional equipment, as required.
- Remove the floor console, if equipped. Remove the floor and defroster distribution ducts.
- Remove the bolt holding the right side instrument panel to the right cowl.
- Disconnect the blower motor wiring, antenna, resistor wiring and the temperature control cable.
- On 1990-95 Daytona and LeBaron models, using a suitable cutting device, cut the instrument panel along the indented line on the padded cover to the right of the glove box opening. Cut only plastic, not metal. Remove the reinforcement and the piece of instrument panel that is riveted to it.
- Disconnect the demister hoses from the top of the housing, if equipped.
- Disconnect the hanger strap from the package and rotate it aside.
- Remove the retaining nuts from the package mounting studs at the fire wall.
- Fold the carpeting and insulation back to provide a little more working room and to prevent spillage from staining the carpeting. Pull the right side of the instrument panel out as far as possible.
- Remove the heater housing from the dash panel and remove it from the passenger compartment. If the passenger seat is preventing removal, remove it.
- To disassemble the housing assembly, remove the retaining screws from the cover and remove the cover.
- Remove the retaining screw from the heater core and remove the core from the housing assembly.
To install:
- Remove the temperature control door from the housing and clean the unit out with solvent. Lubricate the lower pivot rod and its well, then install. Wrap the heater core with foam tape and place it in position. Secure it with its screw.
- Assemble the housing, making sure all cover screws were used.
- Connect the demister hoses. Install the nuts to the fire wall and connect the hanger strap inside the passenger compartment.
- Fold the carpeting back into position.
- Install the bolt that attaches the right side of the instrument panel to the cowl.
- Connect the blower motor wiring, antenna, resistor wiring and the temperature control cable.
- Install the remaining components in the reverse of the removal procedure.
- Fill the cooling system.
- Connect the negative battery cable and check the entire climate control system for proper operation and leakage.
- Have the air conditioning system evacuated and recharged by a qualified professional mechanic utilizing the proper equipment.
