How do I shut off the auto shut down on a 1998 Plymouth grand voyager

If the key was off, the relay shouldn't have been doing anything. You have to crank it to get the asd relay to do anything, there needs to be rpm signal. You should have checked voltage and ground circuits for the relay before changing? The computer controls the ground for the control side of relay. Maybe the ground is shorting or something going on with computer? Any applicable trouble codes? Check the cam and crank sensor signals. Just my opinion.

Kill switch on 1998 plymouth grand voyager

Just because the lights go on does not always mean that the battery has enough power to engage the starter. The clicking noise could be the voltage regulator clicking. And since you disconnected the battery maybe there is not a great connection at the terminals. Were the terminals cleaned before the battery was reconnected? Curious ... what was the cause of the check engine light going on?

If you go to autozones website you can make a free account and logon and put in the year make and model and then you can look for electrical in the free repair guides. If it is not there, a link should show up for ALLDATA. That site is not free though.

I have a 1997 plymouth grand voyager. When I turn on my air conditioner, I do not receive any cold air only hot air.I used to receive cold out a couple of months ago but even then it would only blow c

The likely cause is a bad compressor clutch, but there are other possible causes. The first thing to do is to observe the compressor with the engine running. The clutch is inside the pulley. When the a/c is off, the pulley turns on thr belt, but the clutch does not turn. When the a/c is turned on, the clutch should lock on the pulley and turn with it. Run this test and post the result here.

1992 Plymouth Voyager stops charging when engine warms up

unfortunately the alternator is only a part of the charging system and it should be tested by an auto electrician not a parts shop replace the alternator and then take the vehicle to an accredited auto electrician for a charging system check charge rate should be 14.5-14.8 volts DC at around 1500rpm they can check the alternator out put , voltage regulator or if the regulator is part of the ECM they will be able to test that as well especially when the system is hot as that is when the problem occurs
