When my car lugs down it makes all kinds of shaking and sounds like its falling apart, its an automatic trans. what could be the cause of this?

This can be caused by several different things, such as: A bad axle shaft, the differential or transaxle bearings. The ring and pinion drive, wheel bearings etc. Any one of these will cause shaking and noise on deceleration. Check transaxle fluid level, raise vehicle front end and check for slop in the wheel bearings and check for noise while spinning the tire. The wheel bearings will often make noise when lugging down as you put it due to the weight shift to the front wheels. This also applies to the axle shafts and CV joints and the differential.

Why does my car heater only blows hardly any warm air. the motor temperature is normal, the fan works good, but no hot air. can anyone help !

Check the antifreez make sure it is not just water u can also test the antifreez to see how good it is.another reason it could be is your thermostat may need to changed or you may need one put in if someone has removed.the last thing it could be is more expensive it would be your heater core.

Would a bad ecm kill an alternator?

Not likely Do you not ask these questions over the years, at the shops you go to? They have the answers or the car has other issues & the parts they are using aren't good quality

You have a bad ignition power transistor ( this does roughly the same function as an ignition module) or a bad ignition coil. I would bet on a bad transistor....

Have idle surge, when you

when you turn on the AC- the idle evens out because the ecm instructs the Idle air motor to increase the airflow into the throttle body to maintain idle speed under the increased engine load. 1992 Plymouth Colt Vista AWD Automatic

make sure all the electrical connectors to the trans are properly connected. One of these plugs is for the shift control solenoids- not properly connected = no shifting. This happened during the repair operation which is why the car worked fine before the water pump was replaced.
