No lights when switch is in first position

Do tail lights come on in that position? If yes-- the switch should be OK. This may sound strange but I have see both bulbs bad at the same time in some cases. Did you try at least 1 new bulb.

Reset the Low Pressure Tire Indicator Light

If you have the silver-metal valve cores, on the rims, there is NO reset proceedure. Under the valve cores is a transmitter, which is battery powered. It sends a "yes/no" signal to the tire pressure ECM. Note that ALL 5 tires transmit to the ECM. The signal is "at or above" the specific target pressure needed, or is is below the target pressure. What to do: get a GOOD tire pressure gauge, not those cheap ones that look like pencils. Set the tire pressures to the specification, INCLUDING the spare. Your light should go out. If not, there is the possibility that one of the sensors is innoperative, and that will involve a trip to the dealership, to get it replaced under warranty. Try the tire pressure resetting, adn don't forget the spare. Get back to me if this works. Glad to help, and thanks for choosing FixYA.

I have a 2008 Tacoma Prerunner automatic. I am getting a shimmy at 30-35 mph. I believe it is a transmission issue. Could that be because it is low on transmission fluid?

How would the transmission be low on fluid ? It's up to you to check for leaks & the fluid level If you think it is slipping, you may as well pull the trans & have it rebuilt Don't change the fluid every 2 or 3 years, you have a failed trans All vehicle fluids break down & very few people change them

How to replace spark plugs on a 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl

Not a difficult job, but difficult to outline without photo/video aid.Short list, using compressed air, blow out all of the junk that has collected under the intake muffler, then remove the muffler from the throttle body and airbox There are two large hoses, plus two small hoses, one on the rear (crankcase vent) and one in front. There is also a wire harness on the rear that needs to be separated.Once removed, make sure the top of the cam cover is clean, unplug the wiring harness from the coil packs, remove the bolts (10mm socket), and pull the coil packs from the plugs. The rear plug is a bit of a pain because of the wiring harnesses, but you can carefully separate them and move them out of the way.The Tacoma 2.7 uses Iridium plugs. Stick with the OEM Denso plugs, don\'t fall for the snake oil salesmen pushing 4 electrode or special "hot spark" designs.

2008 Toyota Tacoma V6 Would the AC drain hose drip water onto the frame even if the AC was not used?

If there was a partial blockage in the drain at the ac box it is possible that water will still drip out over time . However some Toyota ac units use the same box for the heater core so I would be looking for a coolant leak in that area . Check coolant level and have a pressure test done on the coolant system to check for the leak. If the drain is in the frame under the car ,the water may be also from the windscreen plenum chamber that collects water from the windscreen and drains in that area.
