Has power, fule pump is working, won't turn over?

? no engine stated of the many. cranks, ok? fast and normal???? or weak....and slow, 250rpm is norm. 12vdc good to EFI ,ok (power sure) spark is next. not fuel. ever. same for carbs to EFI. check spark if spark is good, try test fuel if test fuel fails it flooded or the engine has lost compression in 1 or more cylinders 4 to 6 ? then if test fuel works<<<< we attack fueling. last. fuel pressure at spec? using a real gauge not sounds. or dribbles. you using turns over to mean starts and runs? lots of parts turn over. Running is and end goal and full engine power. The EFI will not inject fuel if it even suspect spark is bad. so spark is 2x more important than carbs (logic in the ECU) this is for fire safety. my motto: NO YEAR NO MODEL No engine. (or transmission type A/T or M/T?, if that is in question) NO HELP (or your joy)

How do I replace the cam sensor on my 2004 Toyota solara

no engine stated, i cant guess.... but. ill pretend 3.3L v6 the fsm covers this, as does alldata.com you want me to type out what is there, all the time. ok unscrew it , pull it put in new. tighten screw its index marked for timing. do not force it on, it must be key engaged. ( like putting a key in the front door lock) same. if the PCM scans show it not failing it is NOT. did you scan it running, is it running at all? gee post symptoms. the 3.5L has 4 VVT sensors. so not stating engine, makes all answers near useless, even mine. what work on and if you dont know what is there/??????

Location of trans speed sensor 3 pin location 2004 solar v6 automatic p0500 speed sensor trouble code

no what matters is if the pulses are good. and the transmission not slipping. the TCM is not genious level yet. are you asking what P0500 means. or want us to tell you all things stated in fSM for this code. what? guessing you can do . ever heard of alldata.com (DIY) ever read that page on 500s? i guess not. 3.3L v6 ? quote: Trouble Code Conditions: P0500 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR "A" The ECM detects following conditions simultaneously for 2 secnonds (1 trip detection logic): No SPD (speed sensor) signal while ECM detects NC (transmission counter gear) signal is more than 300 RPM Park/Neutral position switch is OFF (When shift lever is in other than P and N positions) Possible Causes:
  • Open or short in speed sensor circuit
  • Speed sensor
  • Combination meter
  • ECM
  • Skid control ECU
im trying to decode that too, the sensors are called, C3 counter gear sensor, and Turbin T3 sensor but the book keeps changing names in the book. i think it means, counter gear shows correct RPM but the turbine gear sensor T3 is dead. while in gear. is too hard for them to say. so i said it. and my guess, moving, after all transmission slip moving in fact i can scan your car and prove that i scan it in park, then indrive, no moving got 500s, or are 500 happening flogging engine. but the ECU signal is either dead for turbine sensor or is way too slow. see incongruity from 300+ rpm on counter gear. 500 means dead, not intermittant. i looked at all codes for turbine. so my best guess (no real fsm only alldata) is Turbine is the clutch sensor. (input rpm to trans-clutch) and counter gear is tail shaft sensor.? (output speed) so the front clutch sensor is dead or being grounded out, or is not connected, (rusty conns?) Most FSM made do a poor job, at showing possible bad parts. here is better
  1. the sensor is weak or dead
  2. the sensor connections are bad.
  3. the sensor, signals do not arrive at the PCM /TCM, due to bad wires, or anything on that line shorting that line out.
  4. better (yes?, this is electronics) no a parts swap game.
if the car drives ok then the trans does not slip. the TCM sees both ends and can detect, bad sensors or gross slip. i think it means bad sensor. in this case only. what does this mean?
  1. having difficulty locating it
can buy one, find one, can't insert it, or?

2004 toyota solara transmission problem

is this a manual automatic tranny, we can not guess this. yes an A/T the key word gear fails in any A/T is PRNDL shifter. and switches,. you meant the shift lever fails to move from PARK to drive. that means the shift park lock DEVICE is broken its a safety device, why hack that.? hacking it gets you to where you are now. (hacking H3LL) fix the park luck, and all is good. why not read the FSM on this topic, it covers all the tests or alldata.com. or get it fixed, if reading the book is too hard.

Engine light stays on 2003 chev venture

This indicates that there's a fault in the engine and/or it's related sensors that needs to be addressed. You must have your vehicle scanned and have the diagnostic trouble codes retrieved. This will pin point the area affected in the vehicle and give you a starting point. Post codes for further assistance.
