you can do this, Its the 1st 02 sensor on bank 1 or if u only have 2 02 sensors its the one furthest one away from the cateletic convertor. Hope this helps.

What you need to do is disconnect the battery cable for 10 minutes to wipe out the old info before it was worked on. Reattach the cable and drive the vehicle long enough to heat up all the sensors. I would say 10 miles.
You can then get a free scan at Autozone or Oreillys and see if anything new recorded in the computer.

Get a Haynes manual for your truck. It will show you how to fix just about everything. Available at most auto stores and online.
Usually there is a screw around the headlight rim or behind it, that you adjust while aiming the headlights at a fixed mark on a wall.

Start the engine and check the voltage at the battery with a volt meter. It should read from 13.5 to 16 volts. If it reads out of this range the alternator is defective. If the output of the alternator is ok, then you have something that is on and is drawing power overnight. Dome light, under hood light, glove box, brake light, etc. It can also be a relay that is stuck as in a P/W relay.

We would suggest that you look at the wiring connector under the bed, that feeds the taillamps.
You will probably find a coroded wire in the connector. If the 3rd brake lamp works, all of the fuses and switches are good.
