Cannot get the 120amp Alt fuse out of the fuse block

You need to remove all of the bolts that holds the fuseboc onto the inner fender. The fusebox seperates into two pieces. The outer shell drops away from the center by depressing and releasing the lock tabs. After the outer shell is lowered, the bolts for the 120 amp fuse are visible.

What may be causing my automatic transmission selector lever to have difficulty shifting out of park. I depressed the brake pedal after starting and press the lock release button but the lever sticks.

If your vehicle is equipped with one, you've most likely got a defective brake/stop light switch. It will cause the brake lights to stay on continuously, not come on at all or prevent the shifter from moving out of park.If this switch is bad,it can cause just one of the symptoms above to occur or all of the symptoms above. So in otherwords, the brake lights can still be working just fine, but it can still cause the "shifter is stuck in park" issue you're having. However if your brake lights aren't working correctly, that's definitely a sign the switch is bad.

Do i have to drop the fuel tank to gain access to the fuel pump

Yes Disconnect the battery lift the truck and disconnect all the hoses from the thank, support the tank and lose the two strap holding the tank, lower just a bit and disconnect the electrical connector from the pump, lower the tank all the way. Before open the fuel pump locking ring, blow with compress air around the dirt. don't let any dirt fail in the tank. Good luck

Radio will not come on. Which wires supply power to Toyota Highlander Radio ( Not the speakers.) and what color are they?

fuses need to be tested, if the LOOK good, they can be bad turn key on all fuses, 12vdc on both side,s this is 100% ACCURATE WAY to test in a live circuit. cars come with up to radio options and 1000s more after market. if stock alldata.com has this page. radio schematic. your fuse is blown, hair line cracks are impossilbe to see, unless 10years old.or? Xray man. ( Xmen?)_ learn to use a voltmeter and save tons of time and hair pulls. with radio on, key on, only 2 wire read, 12v, memory power if the power wire is dead the fuse is blown. newer cars use the standard http://knowledge.sonicelectronix.com/car-audio-and-video/accessories-and-installation/wiring-harness-color-standards/ red wire aftermarket oem use what they feel. buy the radio adaptor at walfart, and see pin that has power or alldata.com,log in read ever google????? first hit. My highlander 2002 check engine light always on

Have the history codes read. This will give you an idea where the problem is. Anytime the light comes on, it is stored in the ECM. If the light goes off, then it is stored in the history codes..
