2000 Toyota Camry - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have a 2000 Toyota camry 4 cyl the car
For many of the 90's and 2000's Toyota various models - Camry, Tacoma, 4 Runners, Corolla, and some other models overheating is usually caused by temperature sensitive fan switch on the radiator not operating. Electric fan on the radiator should operate when temp above 200 degrees. Less often the control relay 90987-03003 is defective. Check if bubbling in the radiator smells like exhaust. That would indicate a blown head gasket. A jumper wire from your marker light positive to the lower contact in the fan control relay socket will operate your fan when parking lights are on. The larger vehicles with more powerful radiator fans will need a hefty jumper from a headlight positive to avoid overheating the lighting wiring. Make sure the engine is off and warmed up to check the radiator core with your hand to see if it is getting circulation. If it is all cold the thermostat might be stuck.

Where is the fuel pressure regulator on a 2000 Toyota Camry
A faulty fuel pressure regulator may result in engine misfires, reduction in power, poor acceleration, and a decrease in fuel efficiency. That said, the symptoms can also take place owing to other mechanical issues.
The Fuel Pressure Regulator is attached to the fuel pump and that whole assembly is located in the gas tank, beneath the rear seat. AFAIK there is only the one unit, not one for each bank. You can test to see if you have sufficient fuel pressure at the fuel filter.

2000 Camery No Fuel
The fuel pump will not be supplied power to work if the sensor that is driven by ignition pulses from the distributor is faulty or the pulses are not getting to the sensor.

Exhaust system flex pipe repair. Thank You
This system includes air cleaner, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, exhaust muffler, exhaust turbocharger ( for turbocharged diesel engine) , intercooler ( for turbocharged and inter-cooled diesel engine) and connecting pipes.
valve or
exhaust arresting device installed after the primary filter to take off the dust from filtering. The resistance of the air cleaner should not be too big, the allowable max. resistance under its stained condition is 3kPa, and that under its stained condition is 5kPa. There is maintenance indicator mounted at the vent port of air cleaner, when red signal is given that means maintenance or replacement should be taken place in time, otherwise the performance and service life will be influenced.

Back up light not working
hello, the back up lights are usually on the same fuse as the tail lights so if they are working it's not a fuse, if the tail lights are not working replace the tail fuse. Otherwise the problem is most the backup light switch, on the manual transmission it's a separate switch located on the transmission on an automatic it is incorporated into the neutral start switch also located on the transmission but on the shaft where the shift selector attaches.

HOW TO REPLACE THE PISTON INTO THE CYLINDER SLEEVE
the pistons can be installed from the bottom of the cylinder where there should be a chamfer ( use a ring compressor here makes the job easier--on the bench)
once you have the piston in the cylinder then install the assembly into the block taking care to ensure that the piston is at the top of the cylinder so that the big end doesn't damage the crank journal as you slide the cylinder down into the block I take it that the engine is a diesel ( wet sleeves) so check the liner to block face height before fitting because if the cylinder lip is too low , it will blow head gaskets
make sure that the piston is orientated correctly , the same as the others
