Its real easy. Just a few bolts and its off. These parts are common replacements cause the wear out a lot. Order them off Ebay.

Check the gas cap, make sure it's on tight, check the filler neck for damage, try replacing the gas cap and clear the code by disconnecting the battery.

Hi i never worked on it but i would try to Dryglide special product easy up open and close windows and so spry on the edges and see maybe the mechanism is going stiff and force to open u buy Dryglide from Repco good luck

you changed battery without putting a 12v aux supply and i think you will now find the factory immobiliser has cut in

This warning light indicates a problem with the rear lights (Brake lights, Reverse lights, Number plate light)... Normally it is set off by a bulb that needs to be replaced but it has been documented that using incorrect Watt rated bulbs can also trigger the warning light. It has also been noticed that faulty wiring may trigger the it too.

It is not under the glove box, but is behind the glove box. You probably can't see it for the fan motor. In order to access the ECU you must open and remove the entire glove box. This is accomplished by opening and twisting the top of the glove box to one side and then the other until the top 'stops' on either side are out of the dash. This allows the box to swing down. It is attached to the dash by two srcews. By removing the screws you will have access to the ECU. Before doing anything to the ECU BE SURE to remove the negative battery cable or the electronic parts may be ruined. Hope this helps.
