Torque setting Toyota Land-cruiser 80 Series 4.5 1995-98 Engine code: 1FZ-FE, 1HD. Stage 1: 20 Nm (Start tightening bolts from center to outwards) Stage 2: 39 Nm Stage 3: Rotate each bolt by 90 Degrees. Stage 4: Further rotate each bolt by 90 Degrees

get a tune up yet? do the full 60k mile tuneup,. wont rev up in gear or not? or both?

Check the wire harness and ground/chassis connection.

Plz check to see that all under vehicle wiring is secured.

I've been resetting pajero's compasses but try to get to an area where you can do 360 degrees turns (empty car parks, ) press the reset button and make 2 complete 360 turns slowly and normally this should set the compass bearing.

Computer Box, Try to reset all the connector maybe the it may have lost contact. Misplace high tension wires check the arrangement 1, 4 , 3, 2 net time before pulling the high tension better make a marker.

check the fuses.and fuseable link wire

the fuses for the windows will be in fuse box, it sounds like possible water intrusion,the fuses should all be marked, if they are all good,you may have to remove the door panel to check for any damage at door switches

there is a fan belt tensioner/damper on the engine to keep the belt tight.that might not be working and may need replacing

Hi Tom, The adjustment of the alternator is carried out by 1) loosening the locking nut which is fitted to the top front housing of the alternator and is fitted parallel to the alternator. 2) loosen the adjustment bolt located on top of the bracket until the belt can be removed and a replacement fitted. the gearbox bearings will be different so you will have to change the ecu and the gearbox to get the jeep back to its original state

CHECK THERMSTAT REMOVE PUT INTO BOILNG WATER AND IF IT STAYS CLOSED THATS YOUR PROBLEM

This issue may be related to the Turbo Unit in your Vehicle.

Hi Grant I believe that the fuses you are looking for are 7.5 amps and they are found in the fuse cabinet under the hood. If that fails try replacing the H4 bulbs, which I'm susspecting may have blown! Regards John
