how to replace sidelight cover on th driver side of toyota 2002 ce?

Removal & Installation It may be necessary to remove the upper radiator shroud to perform this procedure.

1. Open and support the hood.
   
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least 90 seconds to proceed working on the vehicle.
   
3. Disconnect the power steering and coolant reservoirs.
   

Disconnect the coolant reservoir

4. Disconnect the coolant reservoir and power steering brackets from the side of the heating unit box.


Remove the coolant reservoir bracket from the side of the heater unit


Separate the power steering reservoir bracket from the side of the unit also

5. Remove the two bolts that attach the upper and lower portion of the heater box. 6. Disconnect the control cable on the side of the heater unit box.

Disconnect the control cable on the drivers side of the unit

7. Remove the eight nuts retaining the unit.


Remove the nuts (8) from around the heater unit


There are 4 nuts on each side of the unit

8. Disconnect the heater control valve bracket from the heater box.

9. Separate the top of the control box from the bottom.


Separate the upper case from the lower

Just remove the retaining bolts conected to the caliper and pull out. There should be two bolts here. Loosen conterclockwise as if you were facing the bolt.

follow the radiator outlet hose and it will take you to the thermostat housing.

jst read it at the side or bottom of it

try running an injector cleaner thru the system.
you may have a dripy injector.

I wouldn't replace just the wiper rubber... I would replace the whole wiper. They come off pretty easy, there is a metal rod that extends from below the window to the piece that holds the wiper. At the end of that metal rod is a plastic clip, usually if you slide a small straight edge screwdriver under the bottom side the clip it will all slide off. But be careful, they are spring loaded and can chip and or crack your windshield. Most auto parts stores will install them for you if you're nervous about it. After you remove the old one, the new one slips right on. It will click into place when you get it right.

You may need to replace your thermostat or heating coil.

Some SUVs the rear shocks bolt to the floor panel and some bolt to a hanging bracket from the bottom. The bottom of the shock always uses the rear axle bracket. Make sure the car is jacked up safe with jack stands and level surface

thermastat could be stuck closed allowing no heat.also heater core could be plugged

The Previa has a special hydraulic center clutch. To convert it to rear wheel drive it would be necessary to replace the whole drive train. Disconnecting the front drive shaft on a 4 wheel drive vehicle will only save you a very small amount of of fuel. The only way to see a substantial fuel savings is by disconnecting the front drive axles from the wheels. This is what manual hubs do and that is why they are still popular.
To see even more fuel savings you would need to remove all of the front drive components and this would remove several hundred pounds and ever bit of weight that you can remove adds up to more fuel savings. But now you will end up changing the center of gravity and the balance of the vehicle.
I have made the assumption that you are trying to increase the fuel mileage of your Previa. Is this correct??
So in the long run you are looking at a major rebuild of your Previa. It would be less costly and less of a headache to go buy a smaller more fuel efficient vehicle.

All strut mounts are found at the top of the strut assemblies. The mount is what holds the strut assembly to the vehicle.

you dont "release" air from the a/c, have a qualified a/c tech determine the problem.

Corroded positive battery terminal. Clean both the terminal and the battery post and tighten clamp bolt. Don't just tighten bolts. There's a layer of corrosion that conducts when cold/damp and gets warm during starting and charging, dries out, and then won't conduct.

There are two bolts that removes the caliper assemby from the A-frame assembly they are 18MM one on top and one on bottom if you have a camera and can e-mail me a picture of the backing plate I can mark it for you. answer this post so I can send you my e-mail if you can do this.
