The bearings are sealed on your vehicle..However you may want to check underneath your vehicle an make sure you didnt run over a plastic bag, and its caught up on your exhaust system..Because that will give you a burning smell..Now as far as wires are concerned, you may want to take it to a repair shop, and have someone look at it...who knows about electrical work on vehicles, because there is nothing by your tire that should smell like its a electrical fire, unless it's inside your vehicle....Goodluck...Or under the hood...
Sticky throttle
Look at the cable inside the jaket of the throttle cable, see if it is frayed. If not, unhook it at the throttle body and pedal, and push the inner cable back and forth, feeling for sticky spots.Work the gas pedal up and down, feeling for sticky spots. Also, operate the throttle body open and closed to see if it returns and opens freely.I'll bet the throttle body is full of carbon, requiring just a good cleaning.(Remember that this is a 22 year old car,so you may need to clean the throttle body, lube the gas pedal pivot, replace the cable,or all three!)
Changing transmission oil 1991 toy camry
OK auto. In that year the transmission fluid and differential fluid are not joined (although both are ATF), and have different drain plugs and fill points, so you have to identify them. First see here p 30 and p 54. http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/ax1.pdfNote the transmission (but not the diff) is filled through the dipstick tube. It is convenient to buy the ATF (Dexron II or similar) in a container with a tube in the cap which will do this easily, or use a long necked funnel. The final check of the correct fluid level in the transmission is done with the engine warm, and RUNNING. Move the shift lever right down to 1 or L, then back up to P, before checking. Then in a car this age it is worth checking the diff fluid level is OK as well. You may even want to change it at the same time, which is a good idea. It should be level with the bottom edge of the fill hole. Also good is the have a hand pump like thishttp://www.tsadvancedsynthetics.com/facts/g2039_banner_600px.jpg
Whats going on
most likely the problem is you have blowby. the oil is coming up past your worn piston oil rings which is causing oil everywheres. start your car and remove the oil dipstick and see if oil comes out. if not you need a engine rebuild or new used motor which would be cheaper in the long run.

The most likely causes are a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake, or insufficient fuel pressure.Check the large flexible connection from the air cleaner for cracks, then inspect all the hose connections in this list, p22http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/eg1.pdfCheck the fuel pressure as on p 177. Take care with fuel vapour and liquid, have an extinguisher and fire blanket handy. If the fuel pressure is low, it may be due to a failing pump, blocked filter, or failed fuel pressure regulator.
Losing fuel pressure
I think the fuel pressure regulator has failed and is not keeping pressure at the correct level. It is partly operated by manifold vacuum, which varies when you accelerate. See here p178 and 197http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/eg1.pdf
