yes it could be the carb and can also be distributor timing or its sucking air in one of the breather pipes or the manifold gaskets isn't as good anymore again resulting in air suction so first check the pipes then spray some carb cleaner in the carb and hold the rpm at about 2500 or try revving it up to 4500 gradually and choke it on top of the carb with your cause it might be dirt stuck in carb

If you remove the switch in the effected door, you can pull the wires to that switch and then run a 12 volt source power supply(i've used a battery from a cordless drill. It doesnt take much juice) directly to the wires, making certain that you swap the wires from pos. to neg. trying it in both directions, This will ensure you've got a good wire harness from the main over to the remote window.
