At a guess I would start with the immobiliser. It may need to be re-set due to the battery being disconnected.

Check battery condition/terminals. If ok then > starter and solenoid.

Does the motor make a noise like its trying to pump when you press the water button? Best way to check is when the car is off and you turn the key to accessories, then try the water. If you hear a humming noise, your fuse and motor are working and you have a blocked spray unit. Just use a pin to unblock it. If you dont hear a humming noise, locate the fuse and see if it is faulty. If the fuse is fine, your motor is bad so replace it. Hope this helps

Remove the combination switch on the steering column, see if the lights go out when you disconnect the wiring plug.

from your description the do it your self fix is another motor from the wreckers. If it is a big end there will be crank shaft journal damage and that means major rebuild and lots of dollars A replacement engine will be cheaper and less costly in the long run.

Chances are you have warped brake rotors. Typically, the problem will be in the front brakes. Change the rotors, and brake pads while you are at it, and you will be good to go.

a bad injector can cause a miss, you can listen to each injector with a stethoscope. It should make a rapid clicking sound. If it makes a deep thumping sound it is likely bad. also an intake leak can cause a miss at idle. also an EGR valve partially open can cause miss at idle. I always check cylinder compression when replacing plugs or coils for a miss. You need quality tech to check for above items.

The brake rotors should be checked for lateral run out. May need to be cut on brake lath !

This sounds like coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber so when it is cool remove the radiator cap and see if the coolant level is low which will indicate that the engine is consuming coolant. Pressure testing the cooling system would be the next test to check for such a lek.

Well if the code is P0407 its not any type of failure. Code 407 means there may be a problem with the EGR valve or the wiring for the valve. The valve and wiring would need to be checked. The EGR valve is part of the emissions system.

Will if you mean a 2000 Toyota, I would go to the part store and see if they have a manual for your vehicle and do follow the directions closely..

You did not specify year of vehicle but if you did it right you have replace B2 S1 wish is located on exhaust manifold, by radiator B1S1 is on exhaust manifold by fire wall. good luck

If there's none when you first turn the switch on,then the bulb is burned ot and needs replaced.

How do you change a oil pump on a 2000 Avalon and is it hard to do. I'm a starter , brake , and external water pump guy , I have the tools

It is seriously not a problem.

I believe the brake dust shield was bent and it's now rubbing on the bottom of the rotor. Check to make sure the brake dust shield isn't bent.
