Cabin filter
1 Tools needed are a Phillips screwdriver and a socket
wrench. Open door to passenger side of vehicle.
2 Under the glove compartment is a kick plate cover
held in place by four screws. Remove the screws and
take off cover.
3 The door to the cabin filter is now visible.
Remove screw in door and unhinge.
4 Remove the first filter by pulling straight down.
Remove the second filter by sliding forward and
pulling down. Replace with clean cabin filters.
Reattach door and kick plate cover.
Good luck and hope this helps.
Squeaking belt
If the belts are good the noise could just be the a/c compressor making noise. The compressor is the only thing that is not normally spinning until the a/c is activated and the a/c is activated by the defrost to dry the air. Cheapest thing to test is the belt I would replace the belt and if it is not the belt you can try the compressor. If it is the compressor then you have a extra belt to put on later.
