Nze121 engine making rattling sound
run fault codes and look for knock detector sensor faults. The rattling sound is probably detonation from incorrect air /fuel mixture ratio and the sensors are there to tell the CPU so that the timing and fuel mixture can be adjusted to stop it as it is detrimental to the engine.
Cylinder compression; i like to know if with 90
from finding on the list 93 psi is recommended but taking into account the age and milage of the engine it would coming as good. means the parts are wearing at the same time i.e valves and piston rings. if you wanted to make it higher psi you could clean and regrind the valves and change the piston rings but it would be a waste of time as it is only 3 psi out. maybe give engine an oil change this can bump up the psi in an engine. use a slightly higher oil rating. as engine is old now and it will keep running for a longer time.
