Check the backing plate/ dust cover on the back side of the rotors. These rust away and cause the same sound.

Unfortunately you will be looking in the transmission. Either the shifter base button is worn but that usually affects all gears or the 5th gear shift fork is bad or the syncro has failed

First of all, make sure it has tappets. In our country, Toyota Conquests have overhead camshafts, which means they don't have tappets. The camshafts drive the valves down with cam followers - these are metal caps on the valves that run directly against the cams. These caps are either self-adjusted hydraulically, or set by inserting shims inside the caps.

Yes there is an adjustment of the pedal but more likely you need a new cloutch.

check your key fob again and try pushing the lock unlock on it a few times,or maybe unhook your battery and then rehook back up

1,2,3, so what does fail to do? 1,2,3? if it won't crank ?, that is starter or key line problems. if it won't start, ASD relay drop out. problems or lack of tuneup this decade. wont run, is a how other issue,, ASD drops out in 2-3 seconds or starts and stalls. stalling is complex. ill not do comlex until yo answer the 1,2,3, questions. you have tools? or just want blind guessing, no starts are caused by 50 things. ill guess, never tuned up.

electric fuel pumps are usually in the gas tank.

I had same problem and replaced the switches to open and close windows (bought unit from dealer) and now works perfectly hope this helps

Your going to tell a professional, your also going to pay--how to perform their job ? That makes no sense at all Your only problems is-- you have not found a shop that is competent enough, to be in the auto repair aftermarket business Why didn't the alignment shop take care of the problem they found? The next butcher couldn't install a steering column or repair one,so they installed a switch & that is okey with you,don't think so

Not even remotely - sounds like you need to find a better shop.

You need a lift, a hanger to hold the engine from the top a transmission jack and about 5 hrs.Disconnect battery. hang the engine from the support hanger. Remove front wheels. loosen and remove axle nuts. Loosen spindles and disconnect tie rod ends. Disconnect ABS sensors. Remove the axles. Disconnect everything from the subframe if equipped. Disconnect the transmission mount and drop the engine down to access the bell housing bolts. Remove bolts, after disconnecting all electrical and clutch controls. Support the transmission with a jack and remove. Reverse process to install.

Its basically at the transmission end of the engine , wire connector plugging into the arwea of the cam cover, hope this helps
