My 1999 Toyota Previa stalls when I am coming to a
My 97 Tarago did the same. Found it was a sensor near the air intake area, quite accessible under the passenger seat. It connects via a bulbuous screw in unit [valve]to the metal work of the engine with a tube to a small filter then connects to an electronic sensor. Unscrew the valve, disconnect from the sensor, and wash out the small hoses filter and valve with some fuel, Dry out reconnect and you will get your acceleration back. If anyone can help with the name of this unit, it would be easier to explain. Good Luck

Hi, this is very normal the chances are your O2 sensors where ok and it was just the cat causing the problem, if the cat is giving the wrong gasses out then this will cause the O2 sensor to seem as if they are faulty, so the warning you get is bad O2 sensors but the fault may well have just been the cat, get the cat changed and you should find you will have no further problems.
Plus as you have changed the sensors then this would rule out them causing you problems in the near future.
once the cat has been sorted the sensors will pick up the correct mixture from the cat and this will then stop the warning lights coming on and it will also make your car run a lot smoother and use less fuel
let me know if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

To be perfectly sure, buy a replacemnet from Auto Zone and match it up to the one on your vehicle...the parts store also has a book on the replacement listings for all cars exhaust parts.
