check the engine mounts and drive shafts for play in them. think on that year it may have a balance weight on a drive shaft check this is not lose, these can cause intermittent vibrations or shudders.

I assume it is an auto by what you say. Is the O/D light blinking any codes? It is common in that model for the shift solenoids to fail, one or both, and the transmission then cannot find low gears forward. Get a readout of trouble codes from a mobile come-to-you mechanic, or your own OBD reader, to see if that is it.

sounds like a fuel problem could be a fuel pump or filter problem you would need to have that checked. other reason for stalling it could be a faulty idle, but with a faulty idle it should still start back up first time.. so would check spark plug leads and plugs. also check for air leaks, its common for the plastic air lines to crack replace with rubber type.

If not cranking with new battery, it is possible you were low on oil and the motor has seized.

I would say you have the incorrect bulbs in them.

Just tell them of the smell. They will start by checking all fluids to see if any are low. And do a visual inspection to look for stains or whatever the smell was from. Do you know what a bad catalytic converter smells like? It is described as sulfurous, like rotten eggs smell. This part is in the exhaust piping, and used to clean pollutants from the exhaust. Now about those warning lights in your dash: those red lights are supposed to always come on when the key is turned to on and then to start. They turn on with key on, and then soon as engine starts (or right after-within a couple of seconds) the warning lights should all turn off. So I'm not sure if you just hadn't noticed them before, or what. Do they seem to stay on for an extended period of time? The only reason a red light would stay on after engine starts, would be a warning that something not right. (Like if the "dripping oil" light would stay on, that is a danger, cause that is your engine oil pressure. If that light stays on, you lost oil pressure, and meaning shut engine off immediately before damage occurs.) So the warning lights come on as a visual check that those bulbs are good, just in case a warning is needed. Then engine starts and all warning lights should go off. See? Good luck, probably not a big problem, but good you check it out.

most likely a head plug has corroded through if you cant find a hose leak. get it pressure tested by mech

probably needs the felt liner in the channel, the same as what the glass slides up in can get it from oem spares or some rubber supply retailers sell it
