My door is also STUCK SHUT, I cant open it from the inside or outside. I understand I need to remove the door panel to fix the issue, but I need the door open to remove the panel. check for neutral/park switch adjustment or fault. Check for loose wiring to the ignition switch. Check for faulty ignition switch

I need more information please, bad wiring... not enough will need to know more, such as, The wires to the alternator are bad, previous owner did a bad wiring job to the alternator, or i messed up the wiring to the alternator and need some advice.

Test for voltage going into and out of the hi/low switch. If you have voltage at the headlights, check the ground wires.
