1993 Toyota Celica power window, door lock, and tilt steering are not working.

Check the wiring where it goes thru the bellows between the door pillar and the door. Continuous flexing has commonly caused wires to not only break, but the insulation can crack, and short out.(perhaps why your other battery went dead - a parasitic drain caused by this condition?) Secondly, find the bulkhead connector where the door wires connect in the kick panel opening and check for evidence of burning or melting.

1993 Toyota Celica trunk will not open. The lock is stuck in a middle position. Can I go through the back seats to fix the problem?

YES. Crawl into the back and remove all of the screws that hold the back plastic panel on. the back seat is removed by pulling up the rear seat front cushion. Then you get access to the seat back. There are 2 12 mm bolts that hold the seat back AND the side arm rest.Lower arm rest bolts are at the bottom. 12 mm. Tie the seat belts back. The seat back bolts are at the bottom. 12 mm. B-4 you try that ordeal...... Use lock eaze on the lock cylinder. Graphite spray can. Try pulling the trunk key back out. maybe a slide hammer.. Put down pressure on the trunk lid, first. Have a friend sit on it... WD-40: last resort. Work the key in the cylinder after you dowse the key hole with that crap/chemical. If the key brakes off, into the trunk you go.

To test a altinator the easy way without special tools, start the car, remove the negative battery cable. If it stays running, the altinator is good. I had the same type of problems. It's probably your ignition coil/coils going bad. Try replacing it and cleaning inside distributer cap & rotor.

How to replace dimmer switch

Hi Klambert, Remove the boss from the center of the steering wheel, usually held in place from behind by screws. Remove the air bag by unplugging the harness and remove the cassette with the air bag and horn connections. Remove the nut at the center of the column and match mark both the wheel and column for correct assembly. Remove the steering wheel with the relevant puller and then the plastic cowlings. Disconnect the electrical connections at the multi socket. There are four screws holding the stalk assembly in place. Remove those and then the assembly and replace. Assembly is opposite, but do not forget to fit the steering wheel using the match marks. Regards John

My stater turns on without turnning the ignition switch

you should replace the ignition switch. I had that problem with one of my vehicles. replaced the switch and lock and it worked just fine after that. Have them check the starter though because having it keep running like that can do damage to the starter itself

The starter keeps runing when I turn off the ignition switch

You have one of 3 issues that could cause this, a bad starter solenoid which is built onto the starter for your model. The ignition switch is defective, could be a bad spring that is in the switch or you have a remote starter which may have issues !
