This is not necessary...as many have stated...use a hammer with switch in reverse position. Hammer the seat back...it will catch...

You may have blown the Power lock & window fuses when you replaced the master control window switch. Go to fuse box and check for blown fuses. Be sure to replace with same value of fuse.

Well I think you have hit it on the head. You need to determine if timing belt is rubber or chain. Certainly should be replaced at this mileage. These also have hydraulic lifters - common for these to go bad.

Did the car overheats? If so, have someone check for a possible blown head gasket or cracked head. Have them do a compression check in the cylinders.

The power seat uses 3 separate motors for the different functions. Sounds like the one for forward/rearward has failed. I think you may find that Dorman manufacturing sells replacements for less that dealer parts. Look it up online or ask your auto parts store.

So simply put a fuse of that size would most likely be bolted in. I would start by checking the hoses at the heater core. One should be hot the other cooler but still pretty warm. If one is hot and 1 is a lot cooler you probably have a plugged heater core. You can also check to see if you hear the blend door slamming and check air temp change when you switch from full cold to full hot. If there isn't a clunk at full hot or cold the door might be stuck.

You can wire one up directly to your battery from the pos and neg. I've got 3 wired up in my truck. I've also got a converter wired up to my battery.

Shop manual show procedure, but basically use ohmmeter to see if readings move smoothly.

Battery cables off the starter ,starter relay and ignition switch. these are the remaining items in the starting system for no crank and no start.

are you draining all the oil or just whats in the gearbox?
nobody can say how much you will need to the last drop really
but you will need at least 6 pints then check the dip stick and runing the motor,,, keep filling till its a full box

fuel and spark are great but are you getting air? sounds to me if u did a head job possible that cam sensor could be the issue or possible mass air as well i would check those compnents but also check basic starting compnents as well plugs wires ignition start batter connectors and air
