There is no mark. Toyota makes use of 2 different colored links on the timing chain. Get the no 1 cylinder on TDC. Align one of the 2 different colored links on the chain with the mark on the crankshaft cog. Aligh the other different colored link with the mark on the camshaft.

What happens to coolant in a toyota 4 runner, no coolant leak but coolant evaporates why ?

The engine is burning it. A leaky head gasket will let water into a cylinder, A cracked block or head will do it too.

Jumping out of first gear in my hilux surf, what causes that & how best way to fix cheaply

No. The synchro hub is worn and where one is worn so may the others be. Try a yard or small ads or ebay if you can't find a local specialist. The cost of genuine toy parts may make an exchange box a better bet.

Where can i find a 1989 toyota 4runner oem service manual pdf download?

For the best OEM Service Manual, purchase one from your local Toyota Dealership. They are not cheap, but cover your vehicle in the best detail. Autozone carries the DYI auto manuals for most imports. It all depends on what services you are going to perform on your vehicle.

I turn the key and nothin happens no noise doesnt turn over

The most common cause of a non-starting car is the battery. It is either weak, (low voltage) dead, (zero voltage) or has bad connections. (corroded or loose) I will assume you have a fully charged battery with good connections. (both to battery and starter relay) If you remove the starter switch lead (small wire) from the starter relay and apply +12v from the battery to its respective prong or lead on the relay, and your starter cranks, your starter switch is faulty. (not to be confused with your key switch). If you jump the two large wires together on the relay and it cranks, then the relay is faulty. If you jump the two large wires together and nothing happens, then starter is faulty, or wires to starter are loose or broken. Picture of starter switch prong on the relay is pictured. NOTE: sparks are to be expected, so don't be too scared.
