The starter relay(s) on the Tercel are under the dash on the passenger side; easily accessed by removing the kick panel and the glove box and panel as an assembly; panel held in place by 4 ten mm screws. Some models have only one starter relay and some have 2. If you have 2 they are on the same bracket, are identical part numbers and are both labeled Toyota starter relay; they are light green from the factory.

Hi Shabba, Let us have more details about your problem? What engine is fitted into your vehicle? Is the engine idle speed high at all times or only when starting when cold. Is the engine diesel or petrol? There is an identification plate fitted on the fire wall under the bonnet (hood) Copy the details from that plate and maybe we can advise. Regards John
