you most likely wont start it without a key, if it has a factory immobiliser the key has a transducer in the base of it that activates & deactivated the immobiliser when it is put in or pulled out of the ignition switch.......hope this helps.....cheers
Look for a black plastic box about 4 x 6 inches under the hood, usually near the battery. This houses relays and larger fuses. the underside of the cover will identify purpose of each element. there are test procedures for fuses, use alligator clips and a battery charger for power. the contacts can be tested with an ohmmeter.
First,as you travel over a rough road that causes the rattle apply the brakes slightly,is the rattle gone now?If so it's loosely mounted brake pads and/or worn brake caliper mounting bolts/sliders.
Rattle still there with your foot on the brake? Then it's usually the sway bar links and/or sway bar bushings.
To check this sway bar noise, disconnect the sway bar links and tie the bar up/out of the way and try that same road.
No noise now? address sway bar bushings and/or links.
Still noise?Might be struts.
If someone tells you,.you have loose lower control arm bushings, have them show you the play in the bushings before you spend any $$$.

06 Solara fuse box under driver side dash, left of brake pedal. Pop fuse cover off. CIG is for cigar lighter. 15A rating. Get the fuse puller from the big fuse box under the car's hood, it is white plastic. Pull out bad 15A blue fuse, replace with new one. For a quick fix, use 15A spare from the big fuse box. Replace asap.
remove the wheel
using a hammer and punch knock the broken stud out
fit the new stud from behind use over size nuts as spacers fit the stud nut and apply tension
using the hammer and punch from the rear on the head of the stud knock it in as you keep the tension on the stud nut
keep the process going until the stud is fully seated on the head of the stud
Do you have a dealer for that make and model of car in your area? If so take your information of make and model and your car ID number to your dealer and they can make you a key. It may not be used to start the car because of the computer chip but will open your doors. We had one made and cost thirty some dollars.
If you are serious about this you need a repair manual. Your library may have one. While the belt is a reasonably priced item,
The skill and knowledge is above average.
dead as in all functions and modes dead, all.
?
well it can only be 2 things
1: no 12vdc to head, (use a 10 buck voltmeter from walfart>?)
2: head end is dead.
25amps is the wrong, fuse. even 10 amps is good for 140watts.
the fuse is stated in the operators guide lost that?
some cars its mark,, RADIO.
the fuse that looks bad is
the fuse that looks good, can be , in fact. bad. what most techs
do is use ,yes, the voltmeter again, to measure bothsides of fues
keyon, radio on, to check all fuses related to radio (audio)
12v on both sides wins
if 12v makes it to the Radio and amp (if external amp then that too must have power, for sure) then the radio is bad, or amp.
if the radio scans and finds stations(not stated) then the amp might
be bad or lost power.
radio 101, over and out.
