Installing new brake pads on toyota camry solara 2006 front rotors and pads and rear pads. Steering wheel would shake while breaking on 50+ miles per hour speeds. All fixed now.
If you are saying the brakes chatter or there is a vibration when applying the brakes your rotors are warped. Remove the pads, have the rotors turned at a machine shop, and replace the pads with new ones, even if they look good. Warped rotors are caused by excessive braking at high speed, riding the brake pedal, or not correctly torquing the lug nuts to the correct lb/ft when installing the tire/wheel. Your owner's manual will list the correct torque which will be around 80 lb/ft. Make sure anyone removing a wheel use a torque wrench and torque them correctly.
Possible defective door ajar switch. Usually located internal to the door lock mechanism inside the door. I have had some success spraying WD40 inside the lock assembly with the door open and then opening and closing the door several times.
Under the bonnet there is a plastic box with fuse number 13 which is a 15 Amp fuse . THIS COMPARTMENT is located just behind the battery near the edge of the engine bay.
If you get stuck refer to the user manual page 372

I have a 2008 toyota camry le my car will start but won't rev.I replaced the throttle body, and the accelerator pedal stil nothing happen. Please help..
If all the tires are filled to the manufacturer's recommendations then the problem is either one of the batteries in the TPMS is dead or has quit communicating with the computer. Les Schwab diagnosed mine as a miscommunicating TPMS and reset it in 15 minutes. If a TPMS battery is dead, the unit is about $70 and whatever the shop charges to mount and dismount a tire.
try pressing the spanner symbol as that generally means setting mode
if not that then the open book may indicate language
failing that have a service dealer explain how you can do it.
Hi. Since you took the chance of opening the engine to replace the timing belt, you might replace the seals and gaskets for the head, cover, and crankcase, including the valve seals. in this way you will add brand new seals, minimizing or eliminating any leak problems. Also, try to use shur-tak spray. This one hold the gaskets in place while putting the engine back together and adds a protective layer to them as well. Ask for it at any parts store.
First, check the fan's relay for proper working order. If positive, then check the earth contact. If OK, the fault must be on the blower motor. Take it out and check it performance with 12 DC power and its connection.
first thing I would do is check all of your fuses, do the controls still light up? next you can check with a multimeter if there is electricity getting to the blower fan which is underneath where the passengers feet go, it is an awkward position though. check the in car and under-hood fuses first.
The code means the sensor is not working or is not working within spec.
You may need to take it to a shop where they can watch the data from the sensor to figure out what is wrong. The sensor is measuring too much air flow or not enough compared to engine speed.
