look in the engine bay for where the water pipe enters the passenger compartment to get an idea where it might be coming in from the passenger compartment view. The back of the heater should have a cable that connected to a valve on the floor / firewall where the water pipe comes into the passenger compartment. Check the cable is connected to the valve.
