Instructions

- 3
Crawl under the car and tag the wires on the starter according to their location using the masking tape and the marker. Disconnect the wires using a wrench to remove the nuts. Unplug the wiring harness from the solenoid.
- 4
Remove the bolts from the starter using a socket and ratchet. Take care when removing the last bolt that the starter does not simply fall out and hit you.
- 5
Put the new starter in place and bolt it in using the socket and ratchet. Reconnect the wires according to the labels you made and tighten the nuts with a wrench. Plug the wire harness back into the solenoid.
- 6
Remove the jack stand and lower the car back to the ground.
- 7
Reconnect the negative battery terminal and start the car to test the installation.

My Celica GTS 6-speed just rolled 100,000. Now
Hi! I believe that the MAF (mass air flow) sensor of the car is about to die. This is an indication that its bout to break down. For now it just revs high occasionally but if its really bout to go bad you will experience an inaccurate idle. You may need to replace the MAF for it may go bad in any given time. Hope this helps and have a good one.

P0421 TOYOTA AVENSIS
indicating the catalytic converter is not operating as well as should be, first i'd check all the pipework going into and from the air intake and inlet manifold for any sign of cracks etc as if air going in is'nt correct the exhaust will be giving a false reading if all looks ok add a catalytic converter specific fuel additive following instructions then after running a tank of fuel through have the code cleared and then road test and recheck for the code if still reading 0421 may have to change the sensor upstream on the cat
Only have fuel pressure when I turn the key to run
I hope that your fuel is not inside your fuel thank.
If not , replace it.
Other advice:
I recommend you to go to your local Autozone store and ask them to check
your vehicle for emissions and other engine problems.
This is a free service. They will show you a print out of the probable causes of the problem you are having and the cost of the parts you need to fix your vehicle. I do not work for Autozone, but the reason I recommend them is that I have learn a lot about cars problems because their free of charge advice and they have saved me a lot of money. Some mechanic shops will charge you to check your vehicle and try to fix unneeded problems.
Autozone will loan you the tools, equipment available, such as AC vacuum and testing equipment and other needed tools to fix your car issues.
The only thing is that if you borrow any equipment or tools, they will ask you for a deposit or credit card in the event that you do not return the equipment or tools borrowed on time.
